The SIPL Scissor Clamp Lifter is equipped with a rubber contact pad for the safe handling of materials. By means of a gravity controlled locking latch, the clamp automatically grips and releases the materials. Suitable for lifting rail tracks, granite slabs, tombstones, concrete barriers, curbs and median walls.
Switches are of two types, namely, stud switch and split switch. In a stud type of switch, no separate tongue rail is provided and some portion of the track is moved from one side to the other side. Stud switches are no more in use on Indian Railways. They have been replaced by split switches.
